Happy Halloween!!!

It's our very first Halloween!!! Laura says we get treats if we don't give her any tricks! What a challenge! There are so many bad things to do! Curtains to claw, couches to cream, and kibbles to chow down on! She gave each of us a pumpkin! Kitten sized of course. Hensley looks really good with his pumpkin. He says she got him the orange one cause it matches him. Well, I got a cream one cause it matches me better. Laura says we have to dress up. This is Hensley's costume. He's a ghost. I, of course, am a Princess!

Hensley and I just love our Round Ring toy. We can keep it going for, like, 10 minutes! Pretty good, huh?

Our day

We sure like pretzels! Laura was nice enough to give me my very own piece. So I nom-nomed it and was a happy kiddo.
Hensley is still just a little guy. See how tiny he is compared to the remote?
We love BBQ! It tastes so nommy! Laura let us have some a few times.

See! We glow really good! That's our kitty halo surrounding us, proof that we are not completely evil!

NomNom

Hensley is tough. Don't mess with him when he's eating! Laura videotaped him eating. You have to have your volume up to hear him.

Us two

We went to the vet yesterday and they said we grew. Hensley doubled. He now weighs 2.06 pounds, and I weigh 2.11 pounds. Laura does a good job of feeding us!

Yep. We're adorable. We know.

Oh boy do we love popcorn! It smells so good, and tastes so fun, and is so much fun to play with! Both the kernels and the bag.

We learned how to climb, and so now we like to sit at the dining room table.

All this playing makes us need naps.

Heather Visits

Laura's friend Heather came over to meet us since we are so cute. She is from a far, far away place called Texas. I don't know where that is, but they showed us on a globe, and it doesn't look that far away. I could put my paw on it. She brought us gifts! We like her! She bought us a purple snake stick, 2 string balls, and a catnip square for each of us. The pink one is for me, cause I'm the Princess. Laura says I'm just a knock off, but I know better, cause I cost 50 moneys and thats a lot! Princessas don't come cheap, you know! Hensley thought he might want to be a nurse when he grows up, so we thought we'd try to walk in a nurses shoes. They were a little too big though. We sure love shoes. They smell so good, and taste so good.

Back in action!

Laura's power cord came in so I can blog again. So here we go. This is a picture of me blogging.

Climbing

Laura's mommy was here all weekend with us. She says we're cute. I already knew it, but I let her tell me anyways. When she got here, she had 2 black boxes on wheels. We snooped it all out. She said it smelled like Tiggie. I don't know what a Tiggie is, but I think I would like it.
After we snoopervised the boxes, she got out jingle balls! Lots and lots of jingle balls. We liked her after that. We already lost most of them. We're good at that.
Laura's mommy kept picking us up when we were trying to play. Doesn't she know thats what us kittens do best? Play? Whenever she so rudely interupted us we would cry about it, and then she would put us down. We trained her good.
But we liked her. She pet us, and brought us mermaids to chase too. We like the jingle balls better, but the mermaids are pretty cool. Then she bought us a sleepy pillow. Hensley loved it. He would! He fell right asleep in it, his belly all up in the air, paws hanging over it, dead to the world.
We showed Grandma how good we sleep. When we were asleep we let her hold us. She's soft.
And then this morning, I showed her my new trick. I climbed up the book case to be more eye level with her. Then I climbed on the desk to show her how I help Laura do her bills. I think I will be a secretary when I grow up. Grandma was pretty impressed, especially since Hensley can't do it!
Laura says I can't put up the pictures yet since the cord-snake is still dead. But she says we get a new one delivered today or tomorrow.
So I will show you pictures later. We love Grandma!

Stereo

Laura told us her mommy is coming to meet us soon. We don't know when soon is, but she said her mommy would love to hear us purring. She said something about "stereo purring." So Laura told us about that, and we tried it.
I started it first, and then Hensley came up next to me, and then he started purring. It was so wierd! We didn't do that again. Maybe when Laura's mommy comes we will do it again.
We learned how to climb. We climbed up the couch. We climbed onto the chairs in the dining room. We climbed up on the chairs in our room. Laura said we can't climb the drapes, but we tried anyhow. She took them away.
She took away all the pretty plants too. We loved climbing in them and chewing on them though. Sometimes she's no fun.

Facials

Last night Hensley was just so super sweet to Laura! After she got some sleep, he woke her up at 2:30 for a super sweet facial. He started at her forhead, kitty licking her whole forehead so it would be nice and clean. Then he washed her cheeks and neck so she would be beautiful. I tried to tell him she was already beautiful, but he wanted to make her extra super beautiful.
Laura's been letting us go into the big room. We climbed right up the side of the couch so we could have the best view. We even got to watch football, which is very exciting! So exciting we fell asleep on top of Laura. She was nice and just let us sleep out in the big room.
We just love her so much!

no shock

Hensley and I had to tell Laura to let us use her work computer to blog today. She says it's cause we ate through her power cord. I say we were killing snakes! We are so tough!
Last night Laura gave us stinky food. We love stinky food. We're so smart, we know when she's going to give it to us and run right over to our dishes to show her where to put it. Hensley growls if she tries to pet him while he's eating. He's such a silly!

Guests!

Margo and her son Donovyn came over to meet us. He's a kid too, and we had so much fun! He put us in boxes, got out a basket to play Hide in, and brought us a present. It was a scratchy post. But so far, we like the carpet better.

Gross

Hensley and I got to stay home all day with Laura. We got to fall asleep in her arms, on her shoulders, and Hensley slept in her armpit.
We're getting pretty good at peeing and pooping in the litter boxes now. We haven't missed even once all weekend! Well, except that time my aim was off. Half my doodoo landed inside the box, and the other half on the outside. Laura wouldn't let me put a picture of that up.
Another gross thing, when Hensley was giving himself a bath, he decided to give Laura one too. He started by cleaning her ears. Then the inside of her ears. Really good.
I wish he was good at keeping his own feet clean. He keeps stepping in his own doodoo, and then Laura has to wash his feet. I do it sometimes too. We're just babies, you know.

I'm better at catching it than Hensley, but he tries really hard. When Laura makes it go up in the air, we go after it. We usually miss and she says it looks like we're dancing. But we're tough! Really!
Laura wanted me to tell everyone that I purred for her for the first time. She likes it when I purr. I have a really deep, rumbly purr. I'm still practicing it though.
