Merry Christmas

We was getting bored waiting for Santa to show up. But then Laura said it was CHRISTMAS!!!

Santa let me try on the hat. I looks good in it. See? I iz good!

I gots so excited about Christmas, I couldn't wait till present time. I insisted Gramamama open the present I gots her. I knew she'd love it. And she did, of course!

I borrowed Uncle Rufus' snake. It was sooooo much fun! I hoped Santa would bring us good little girls one.

Uncle Rufus stayed up on his high spot. Hensley thought and thought and thought about how to get up there, but he never did.

Gramamama made bruchetta. We likes bruchetta.

Hensley helped keep Granpapapa all clean. We likes crumbs.

Me and Granpapapa talked about how good I has been. He says I iz so good, he wants to keep me!

Granmamama made us some yummy appetizers. We liked them!

Then there were PRESENTS!!!!

Santa DID bring us presents!!! Hensley and I got 2 snakes Gramamama made, and I got JINGLE BALLS!!!

Then we checked to make sure there is not anything hiding in the presents wrapping.

We hads a good time.

Chimney?

You says Santa comes down through the chimney? Then is a good thing you let us sleeps over at Gramamama and Granpapapa's house. Cause they gots a chimney. We watched out for him ALL day.

SANTA READS MY BLOG!!!

I did no believes in Santa. So I played with cords, I chewed on presents, I was bad!


We has been sooo naughty! We tried to take down lights!

We knocks down ornaments!

Then Mrs. Claus appeared! She said we was being naughty and Santa knows if we has been good or bad. He knows if we has been sleeping. She said we better be good for goodness sake! OOOh. She scolded us something fierce!!!

Then she was gone! And all the presents gone too!!!

I wills be good, Santa! OK? You leaves me some presents now?

How many more?

Laura said there are PRESENTS for us! So I got right to work sniffing them all cause I can't read so good yet. She wrote it in English, and I, of course, only read Siamese.

When's CHRISTMAS COMING?!?!?!

Do we really gotta not be naughty? Cause that's hard.

We likes boxes. Always a good thing.

Uncooperative

Laura said it was time for Christmas pictures.

So we started getting ourselves all prettied up.

And then Laura said, "Say Cheese!"

And we said "Cheese? Yes, you can bring us some!" But she didn't. She said she will try Christmas pictures again later.

Leave it to the boy

Hensley is decidedly a boy. Not that there was ever a doubt. But he proved it. I think he must have started puberty. Laura and us was watching Some like it Hot, which I think was made before my time, and Hensley sure paid some attention once Marilyn came on the screen. I think he's in love. Course, he didn't watch the whole movie. Just the "good parts." Parts indeed!

VISITORS!!!!!

Laura's Mommy and Daddy came to see us and work for us. First we made him go buy us things. I checked them all out to make sure they were just right.

We got to work. He worked so hard for me! I even dumped a big bucket of dirty sink water all over the floor, just so he could show off how good he works, even under complicated circumstances.
After we was done, we let him rest.

We told him what a good job he did, with my snoopervision of course!

And then we snuggled in for a good nights sleep after all that work.

We sure likes them! We misses them already!

Somebodys followin me

This tail! It follows me EVERYWHERE!!!! I chase it! I bit it! I give it da evil eye! Nothing makes it go away!!!! Round and round and round I go chasing it. But its always there! What's a girl to do?

Laura got us a new toy!!! We iz sooo excited! Hensley got all up in da box, and he scared me! H~"Dat's right! I iz king of da box!!! Rawr!" Yup. I luvs boxes. They da bestest.

Thanksgiving day

Laura said GrammaD and GrampaD was coming over for Thanksgiving. So of course we started to get all cleaned up. Gotta look good for Gramma and Grampa.

Laura have a taste of Turkey juice. WE LUUUUUUUVVVVVVSSSSS turkey juice!!!

We checked out the turkey. Don't know why Laura wants to cook it. We could eat the whole thing right now!

Of course, Laura said we had to help earn our keep, so we helped with the dishes. Then she let us play.

We likes to play.

We helped put the turkey in the oven.
Then we sat nicely and waited for GrammaD and GrampaD to come over.

We took our place at the dinner table cause we was hungry.

But we fell asleep, and slept right through dinner!

In fact, we woke up for a minute, and played with our box, but then Hensley fell asleep in it on GrampaD's lap.

So...when is the next one? Can it be tomorrow? We LIKES turkey!

Naughty kittens

Laura says we is "Naughty." She says she's gonna tell Santa.

Alls we did was make two itsy, bitsy, kitten sized holes in the bottom of the couch to play in. Its a really fun cave!!! Laura tried to sew the holes up, but we iz smart, and we un-sewed them so we could keep playing.

Yep, we has done been bad.
